Program Overview
The Geez Language track is an intensive academic journey into the classical Semitic language of Ethiopia. It is designed for students, clergy, and researchers who wish to fluently read, translate, and analyze ancient Orthodox manuscripts, liturgies, and sacred poetry.
Levels of Study & Course Content
Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geez Language
A 2-year transition program (60 credit hours) building upon the Diploma curriculum.

- • Manuscript Translation & Exegesis (Tergum)
- • The Book of Enoch in Geez

- • Senior Capstone Translation Project
Diploma in Geez Language
A 3-year fundamental program (60 credit hours). Graduates can upgrade to the BA degree at any time.

A 1-year introductory program requiring 30 credit hours.
