As an introductory course on liturgy, it deals with basic themes such as: liturgical celebration, sacramental praxis and liturgical spirituality. The course serves as a prerequisite for the advanced course on liturgical theology.

·         Help students appreciate liturgy as a privileged source of theology.

·         Introduce to critical readings of primary sources on liturgy.

·         Assert the importance of the sacred approach to the mystery of God.
